The open mike starts at 8:00 (with sign-up prior to that). Tara will come on between 8:40 and 8:50 and give us 20 minutes or so of work.

TARA HARDY’s second book of poems, My, My, My, My, My, won a 2017 Washington State Book Award. She’s the founder of Bent, a writing institute for LGBTQ People in Seattle. Tara is a former Hugo House Writer In Residence, Seattle Poet Populist, and Hedgebrook alumna. She teaches for University Beyond Bars, Hugo House, Path With Art, and is brand new faculty at Evergreen State College. Tara is a daughter of the United Auto Workers, and for most of her life has worked in social justice movements (sexual assault, domestic violence, hate crime, Queer and Trans liberation, and Disability Justice). She is the author of two books by Write Bloody Publishing.
