The open mike starts at 8:00 (with sign-up prior to that). Vinnie will come on between 8:40 and 8:50 and give us 20 minutes or so of work.
VINNIE SARROCCO hates author bios. He is a poet and raconteur from rural North Carolina who is currently exiled to Seattle, WA. Despite the often heavy subject matter, Vinnie’s poems don’t take themselves too seriously — oscillating seamlessly between sincerity and wry gallows humor. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Coffin Bell, SPREAD, Rue Scribe, Beholder Magazine, & Rumble Fish Quarterly. He is the author of the full-length collection “Poems for the Garbage Man” (Chatwin Books) and can be found reading in seedy dives across the state of Washington.
