The open mike starts at 7:00 (with sign-up prior to that). Michele will come on between 7:40 and 7:50 and give us 15 minutes or so of work.
MICHELE BOMBARDIER’s debut collection What We Do was a Washington Book Award finalist and described by Ellen Bass as “a call to empathy”. Michele earned her MFA at Pacific University and her work has been published widely in journals such as Alaska Quarterly Review, Atlanta Review, Bellevue Literary Review and others. She is a Mineral School and Hedgebrook fellow and the founder of Fishplate Poetry, offering workshops and retreats while raising money for humanitarian aid, specifically medical care for refugees.
