The open mike starts at 8:00 (with sign-up prior to that). John will come on between 8:40 and 8:50 and give us 20 minutes or so of work.
JOHN OLSON is the author of numerous books of poetry, including Dada Budapest, Larynx Galaxy, and Backscatter: New and Selected Poems. He has also authored four novels, including In Advance of the Broken Justy, The Seeing Machine, The Nothing That Is, and Souls of Wind, the latter of which was shortlisted for a Believer Magazine book of the year award in 2008. In 2004, Olson was a recipient of The Stranger’s annual genius award for literature.
