BONNIE WOLKENSTEIN, Ph.D., is a writer and psychologist living in Seattle, Washington. Her personal essays explore the deeper experiences that lie just below the surface of everyday moments. Work has been published in Drash: Northwest Mosaic. She participates in Easy Speak Seattle, a weekly gathering for spoken word.
