Sean Morse

Sean.MorseSean Hunting Morse sings personal songs, returning to the small-town stories by way of his classical music roots. In Sean’s music there’s a sense of harmonic adventure, of melody both precise and unbound. As a guitarist, Sean blends Folk and Blues (and the occasional Jazz) into the perfect accompaniment for his stories.

He came up through the open mic circuit of Denver, CO, and has played with and for some of the best folking talents the Queen City of the Plains has to offer: Megan Burtt, Gabrielle Louise, Katey Laurel, and Ryan Morgan, to name a few. His first studio release, the 7 song EP “Lines from Someplace”, was recorded in early 2010 with co-producer and recording engineer Jamie Mefford at Globalsound Studios in Broomfield, CO. Now based in Seattle, Sean is an occasional contributor to the Bushwick Book Club Seattle Chapter while continuing his improv blues and R&B performances for the local and nations Blues and Fusion Dance scenes. His most recent release is entitled “Nothin’ Left to Say” and features 12 all improv songs which were composed, sung and recorded live with a small, select audience of dancers is available online at seanhuntingmorse.bandcamp.com
